Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad stated that Iran generated $11.5 billion from oil sales during the war, followed by an additional $6.5 billion throughout the ceasefire, when risks were reduced for maritime tanker traffic. This has boosted exports and allowed the country to offload a portion of its nearly 100 million barrels of stockpiled crude oil and gas condensate.
Paknejad added that these total sales covered over 60% of the oil revenue projected in Iran's national budget for the year.
