Eleven thousand people have already paid for a companion that does not exist yet.
It is called the UWORLD U1. Chinese robotics company UBTECH built it. It is full-size. It is covered in synthetic skin. It recognizes twenty different human emotions with ninety percent accuracy.
It does not just talk. It remembers everything you say.
