While Bilibili remains much smaller than YouTube internationally, the platform already has a massive audience.
The company reported more than 376 million monthly active users and 115.2 million daily active users in the first quarter of 2026.
Now, Bilibili is reportedly expanding its global creator strategy and offering competitive payments to attract more international creators and content.
Reports suggest the company could pay around $0.70 per 1,000 views for eligible creators, giving it another way to compete for attention in the crowded global video market.
YouTube remains the dominant platform, but Bilibili’s enormous existing user base gives it a strong foundation as it expands beyond China.
Could Bilibili become a serious global competitor to YouTube?
